Ahead of us Muslims who are coming in our holy month of Ramadan this month we like to eat different types of chop in Iftar such as (onion, brinjal, potato chop) etc.
Friends, we all love to eat fried food in Iftar during the month of Ramadan. Although fasting all day and eating fried food in Iftar is very harmful for health, we Bengalis still like to eat it. So today's event is for those who do not know how to make crispy onions or can't do it properly.
Ingredients
- Half a cup of khesari or lentil
- 4 crushed large onion pieces
- 2 tablespoons or 250 grams of soybean oil
- 3 teaspoons flour
- 3 teaspoons gram flour
- 3 crushed green chilli
- 1 pinch of turmeric powder
- 1 pinch of baking soda (Optional)
- Salt
- A little red chilli powder
Cooking Method

First wash the pulses well with water and soak them in water for 4/5 hours. After 4/5 hours, wash the pulses well again and grind the pulses lightly in a sieve or blender.

Then in a bowl, mix well with pulses, onion, green chilli, turmeric, red chilli powder, baking soda, salt, gram flour and flour. Do not over-harden or over-soften the medium.

In a frying pan, heat the oil well with a large amount of oil and fry the chopped onion in the shape of your choice.

If you keep the pickle in the oven low, the onion will be crispy and if you want to soften it a little, increase the pickle in the oven.
When cool, serve with sauce or salat.

- বড় সাইজের ৪ টি পিয়াজ কুচি
- ২ টেবিলচামচ অথবা ২৫০ গ্রাম সয়াবিন তেল
- ৩ চা চামুচ ময়দা
- ৩ চা চামুচ বেসন
- ৩ টি কাচা মরিচ কুচি
- ১ চিমটি হলুদের গুঁড়া
- ১ চিমটি বেকিং সোডা (Optional)

- সামান্য লাল মরিচের গুঁড়া
